About the Teacher

Dr. Fulton

     Dr. Fulton graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Joseph's College with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. She has a Master's degree in Reading from CW Post. She received a doctorate in Teacher Leadership from Walden University.

     Dr. Fulton has been teaching for twenty five years. She taught for two years at St. Mary's School in East Islip. She taught third and fourth grades at Cherry Avenue. Currently, she is teaching second grade.

     Dr. Fulton participated in the mentoring program at Cherry Avenue for thirteern years. She was the PTA teacher representative for ten years. She is currently a member of the Building Advisory Committee (BAC). In February 2006, Dr. Fulton was chosen to go to Albany, NY to create the New York State Standardized Social Studies test for fifth grade. From 2007 to 2012, Dr. Fulton wrote the New York State Standardized Science test.

     In her free time, Dr. Fulton enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, and scrapbooking.
