Below are some websites with information for parents and care takers.

Students should read English every day. After they read, ask some questions OR have them write the answers to some of the following questions:

• What was your favorite part?
• Would you recommend this book? Why? Why not?
• What did the setting look like?
• What was the problem in the story? How was it solved?
• Describe the main characters? Are they like anyone you know?
• Is this book like anything you've read before? If so, what?
  
• Write an alternate ending to the story.
• What happened first, next, and last?
